Ya know originally the criminalization of pot was strictly a racist policy designed to oppress the Mexican immigrant communities. Apparently mi amigos liked to get high. Most folks do.
Well, as time passes the blacks and the lefties of the counter culture hippies movement fell into that net as well. And in order to maintain racial superiority and demonize all others, the US Govt decided that it was in the interest of public safety to literally criminalize an entire segment of the American population. Over nothing. Out of the blue for no reason other than cheap, easily debunked, right wing lies.
The feds knew someone was making tax free money from the trade and it enraged them. Their solution was to artificially create a judicial hell-scape of drug laws and an entire prison population locked up for,............getting high? A socially toxic and grotesque response. To criminalize millions who were NOT criminals.
Of course years later during the 'war on drugs' this insanity evolved into the CIA literally importing CRACK into poor neighborhoods in order to raise illegal funding for the 'Contra's' of Nicaragua. <--documented FACTS.
Not only did I witness all of this evil :poop: but I got caught up in it and spent a decade in prison over it. So this is a topic I'm personally and intimately familiar with.
I think when I learned about how the US Govt. used to literally poison industrial alcohol to prevent moonshiners from making tax free liquor that resulted in the deaths of 20,000 American citizens for the CRIME of wanting to have a drink that I realized the Govt. are NOT the "good guys". The more I learned the more I researched and the more I discovered just how sinister the US Govt really is.
I've gone on record saying that there is literally NOTHING I would put past the Federal Govt from inflicting on it's own population. No matter how undeniably evil. I mean, intentionally medically infecting black folks with VD and syphilis as human Guinee pigs sort of tells you all you need to know about just how cruel America really is. I put nothing past these ghouls. NOTHING.
They lost all valid legitimacy for me decades ago. I've been a vociferous dissident my entire life. From Vietnam to the Cambodian bombings to the "Gulf wars" and the Iraq invasion America is ALWAYS on the wrong side of history, humanity, and intelligence.
Hey, I even did a few years in Federal prison for complaining too loudly with mere words. They were able to dishonestly twist and morph-lie that into a "Terroristic threat" prison sentence. So when I complain I have to reread and edit my every word in anticipation of my next court date in Federal court. ,.......for words.
Just look at the Civil Rights movement for clarity. The US Govt is always firmly against what the majority wants out of these useless slugs that beg us for votes by offering hollow meaningless promises. Anyway, this has been going on for as far back in American history goes. From BEFORE day 1 even.
Of course now we have to live in squalid poverty, with our civil rights eroded, because the US Govt needs more money to make more secret weapons designed to KILL us or other equally unfortunate people all over the world,....... that we have to pay for.
It's a nonstop record of indisputable treachery. After 911 we got the Enabling act, aka the "Patriot act", an obvious violation of about 6 of the 10 "Bill of Rights". <---I've detailed them all in previous essays. We got the DHS Gestapo and now ICE not-z thugs literally murdering white American civilians on the streets for exercising their 1st Amendment constitutionally protected RIGHTS.
